Any knowledge of rims and tires/ offset?

I have a 98 TJ. I'm looking at a set of rims that are 15x7. I do not want my tires to stick out past the flares because im tired of my jeep getting dirty anytime there is anything on the road. I have 31x10.5 tires. If these rims have a 4.5 back spacing. Will they stick out beyong my fender flares?

I have 15x8x5.5 backspace with 31x10.5. Treads are even with flares. I would guess yours would stick out between 3/4 to 1 inch.

I run 33x10.5 BFG AT on 15x8 wheels with 4.75 inches of back space and the fit is very nice with the stock fender flares

Most stock Jeep wheels backspacing is 5.5". At least that is the bs on Canyons. That keeps a 10.5" tire even with the flares.

I do not believe they have a 5.5 back space. It has to be a 15 inch rim

I've not seen soft 8's with that backspacing that large. But I was looking for less backspacing, not more... Check Jegs, and Summitracing, they have the best prices usually.

My bad. I overlooked the 5.5" bs part. I was just making a recommendation on a 15x8 black wheel.
