Anybody know how to defeat dome light on key off?

The wife's '06 LJ turns the dome lights on as soon as you turn the key off.

Anybody know how to kill that option, and still have the lights work on just the door switches?

I think you can shut the dome completely off but that kills it for the doors too

I think those domes are controlled by the BCM maybe? Cuz they'll gradually fade

If it's dark, it'll immediatley broadcast that she's alone to anyone in the area.

Thanks I never would have thought of that. I'm alone 99.9% of the time in mine and that has never occurred to me before.

If she poses like your user pic when the light comes on, she probably won't have any problems.

Wife's jeep, she hates that feature for a variety of reasons, one of which mentioned above. Fun poses every time the light comes on, I'll suggest it, but I already know what the response will be.

Mayhap I need to talk to the dealer to see if it is a programming issue.
