Anyone ever heard of

Check engine light coming on due to your iPhone being connected to the cigarette lighter? I know it's strange

I have, been doing it, checked all the usual suspects for the code, I unplugged the charger cause I noticed my right speaker was going in and out with the iPhone connected, and the phone disrupts my wifi signal when connected to charger. I am throwing darts at this point, but since I have disconnected I have gone 50 miles no code and the check engine light comes on normally within 50 miles but as late as 100 miles, so still got a little time, as I have been diagnosing this for the past month, testing, resetting computer testing restring ect..

So I have now gone further then any other reset without the check engine light coming back on, so I am thinking it is something electrical to do with using my charger plugged into my lighter, any off the wall ideas why that would/could cause it to spit out a check engine light?

Well almost a week no light, well over 100 miles... I guess I maybe on the right track, but how weird, and again if anyone has any ideas, I would live to hear them, if the check engine light stays off, it's tells me it either the lighter, my charger, or my phone... Again weird

If it comes back on you can get it to tell you the code if you turn the car off and turn the key quickly "on, off, on, off, and once more back on" and it will read the code out to you on your odometer. Look up the number and theres your problem.

I know the code it says misfire number 3 cylinder, done all the usuals plugs wires cap check oil radiator look for leaks no smoke fuel injectors changed gas compression check and I still mpg's... I have been at a loss and had given up when I pulled my charger out and disconnected the iPhone and have not been able to get it to come up in 6 days before that it was clockwork every 50-100 miles or four to six starts of the engine
