ARB Snorkel Install Problem

Hello.

Today I wanted to check if all parts teat came with the new ARB snorkel do fit.

I noticed that the now air intake metal thing that has to be intalled at the air filter box does not fit. There is a connector at the alternator in the way.
I think that my 2 BL causes the problem.
Do you think a 1 MML will be enough to solve this problem?
Or how could I solve it on another way?

Please help me! I want to install the snorkel this weekend.

Thanks !
nicolas-eric

A pic where you can see the connector thatīs in the way:

Her you can see that it doesnīt fit:

you can get a different airbox and hook up the snorkel with some rubber tube adapters.
I have a intake box out of a "89-92 GM 3.3L V6."

here is a picture of it on someone elses jeep. (Im just going to run the flexible tube to the snorkel instead of the firewall)

what if you turned it the other way, and got some extra pipe fitting for the connection.

I'll give that a try.
Perhaps the hose is long enough for that, it's abou 3-4 feet long.

Another air box isn't an option. There will be some problems at the next car inspection. That isnīt street leagal because another air box could change the H.P of the engine.
