Question Automatic shifter knob?

I want to change my Automatic shifter knob, that has the button on the side of it, to a different one. Can I change it to an automatic shifter knob with a button on the top? - or does anyone have better ideas?
-thanks

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to. I know B&M as well as Hurst sells those check around on their sites and maybe on Ebay for them.

And welcome to WF

I made my knob from a dummy grenade.

If you pull on the "T" part of the shifter it comes off and you replace the that part with the grenade. I have to push the grenade down to shift. The nice part is that I can go back to stock when I have to go somewhere like an airport parking lot...

Truckie453,
So your saying you had an automatic shifter, with the "T" on it? Now I have the button on the side, that you push to shift. You changed it to your grenade shifter with the button on the top, and it still worked????

I have been wondering about changing the shifter on mine as well. I'll see if I can pull it off tomorrow after work.

i think what he is saying is when you have the stock T handle on the button is on the side, but when you remove the T the button part sticks out of the end of the post of the shifter -- so when he pushes down on the grenade it pushes the switch. if that is what your asking???

That is exactly how it works...
