thats why I'm going to use a 50 amp switch... does that sound sufficient? Also, I'm running each individual light out of a fuse box so each light will have its own fuse. should I also put an inline fuse before the switch?

I used a single 30amp fuse at the battery and then ran the wires to all 4 lights. Each light has its own ground, but they are all connected by one hot. No problems yet.

RIP, that bike is tuff, I'd like to see more of it, esp that headlight! I'm thinking a pair of skull foglights on my front bumper might help to clear traffic when I have to drive in town..

as the switch goes. what i would do is run a small switch and then run a reley. The switch only needs to be strong enough to turn the reley on. A reley can be turned on by a regular AAA 1.5 volt battery.

so then the 50 amp switch is useless.

The 2 pairs of KCs I'm running each have a relay, the rock lights have a 30amp fuse and no relay. 50amp switches aren't useless, but the fuse would blow long before the switch did.

sgnellet, I'll get more pics of Mr. Grim up later.

just finished
wired from engine compartment fuse block... to an inline fuse... to a 6 way fuse block... and 4 of those go to my rock lights.

To turn on the lights I just plug in the inline 30 amp fuse. thats my switch clean, simple and works great for occiasional use

*edit... by the way, thatnks guys for your input. I hate elctricity

If you have releys, 50 amp switch is complete waste of money. Even 10 amp switch is too much. The switch only controls the reley and needs to be ONLY strong enough to flip the reley. As i said a reley can easily be turned on by a AAA 1.5 volt battery.

Dude - the switch came with the kit... and even if he went to a store and bought a switch, 5-10-15-50 amp... they'd all cost $1. Waste of money or not, it does the job.

i havent taken the switch cluster apart to look, but as some of you know im getting the stubby jeeperman bumper (no light tabs) i will no longer be using my stock fog lights, so i was wondering how difficult its going to be to hook up some IPF 968's (55w same as stock fog) on my windshield mounts to my stock fog light switch? can it be done? did i miss something and this wont be safe? plug and go? just want to know before i start sending money out. anything else or other suggestions lemme know! thanks!

OK - I'm sorry. I'll drop the ricer jokes. But I mean, with the crap you've said in the past, you kind of deserve it. I know its hard to pick up on sarcasm on the net but oh well. You seemed to take the other jokes from yesterday fine.
