Does anyone know the actual size of the hub nut as I'm taking the rotor off to get to the axle u-joint. and I dont want to spend a buck of money on the wrong thing.

36 mm, you'll need a 1/2 12point(13mm if rusty) for hub bolts. is this your first time pulling an axle? if it is, it's not as bad as most think.

take your time. break torque on the hub nut while tires on the ground, or before removing brakes. if you have an impact wrench then it don't matter. If the three bolt in back are difficult to remove, I put a box end wrench on bolt head and tap with a short handle sledge hammer. watch your fingers. anti-sieze on the inside of knuckle makes the job easier the next time when removing the bearing. clean the inside of tube. when you push the axle back in you don't want all that dirt in the splines. there's probably more but I need to go back to work for a few minutes.
