axle question, help needed

Ok so as I have posted I stripped the spider gears in my d35, this past weekend while out playing on the rocks, I've been reading and I have seen a couple different places that d30 spiders will work in place of the 35 spiders, does anyone know if this is true, if it would that would be great to get it back on the road, cuz I have a set of d30 spiders from installing my aussie in the front, at least till I can find a 44 to stick back there or get a 8.8 and start converting, just trying to get it back on the road as quick and cheap as possible, cuz I have till spring to get a better axle for offroading, since everywere around here closes for winter.

They will not work. They look to be the same size and should work but if you look closer there is a recess in the Dana 35 spider gear for the c clip. The 30 does not.
