Axle tube seals

so I think I broke my stock tube seal on the passenger side while messing around in the woods the other day . has anyone had any dealings with the product below. are they easy to install? info please?

not familiar with them, but i did just rebuild the d30 on the front of my yj, so if you have any questions about this disassembly let me know

pull the shafts out from the axle tube ends, pull the carrier gear, knock out the old seals, put the new ones in, put the carrier back in, shafts back in. wheels back on. done.... obviously not as easy as it sounds. if you have any problem it will come with the gears.

come with the gears? I'm not going to switch out the gears just replace the axle tube seals. 1 is already knocked out the of the tube thats the reason for replacement.

naw, it dont come with gears, but you have to get the ring gear out of the way to put the new seals in...

Those outter tube seals are like 6 of one half dozen of the other. They are designed to not let any dirt, water, etc... in your axle tubes, however that also means that whatever does get in there won't be able to get out either.

I personally think they are just a gimmick product that really provide no value. I'd say just to replace your inner tube seals and call it a day.
