back tow hooks?

Where can I mount tow hooks on the back of an 06 SE? There are holes on the side of the frame behind the bumper but the holes are spaced pretty far apart. Theres no mounting holes on the bumper either. Where and how do you guys mount them on the rear? Pictures, advice? thanks!

Jerry used that lower hole on the frame and then drilled one above it (at and angle) and bolted on a hook there. He didn't through bolt it though, only through one plate.

Does it need to be bolted through or will one plate be sufficient? I will probably use one of the holes and drill another.

Thanks for the pic hamilton, thats not a stock bumper is it?

you cant through bolt it, if you through bolt it and tighten it down it could colapse the frame rail, one plate is strong enough for sure. post up some pics

That last picture is definitely the way to go, and you only have to drill one additional hole for it. Don't through-bolt the hook so the bolts go all the way through the frame, both nuts and washers go inside the frame so the hook is bolted only to the outside edge of the frame. There's an opening in the frame underneath that will allow you to get the washers and bolts up inside.

I used these tow hooks from Mopar on my 06 SE, 3 bolts for the frame and come with brackets and all hardware. It's a little more pricey than just buying the hooks but I like the placement better.

ok so like mudslingers pic above, i want to do that but I can't, my frame looks exactly like that. My frame is completely closed and has no access I cannot get my hands or a wrench inside the frame to bolt on the hook. Even if I drill 1/2" holes for the hooks there's no way to bolt them on. It's an 06 SE.

ooo I see you have to remove the back bumper
