balance point

When taking off a rear stock shaft i know you mark position on the differential but is there a balance point @ the slip and yoke? ? If so how can i find it again? Took off to change clutch now when going 55+ shakes bad.

Just as long as you marked the rear yoke then you shouldn't have a problem did you notice if you u-joints were loose?
