Flowmaster sounds pretty good. When I have to replace my stock that is what I am going with

I have a Borla and it sounds pretty mean, purrs at low rpms but when you take it past 2500 People will hear you coming.

Gotta have good speakers if you wanna watch the vid to get the true sound.

I have the Flowmaster series, I don't like it. Sounds like it's an asthmatic, not throaty.

I wondered about the Banks system, almost ordered it. But from what I heard researching it, I thought it would sound a little tame. Heard it on a JK and wasn't impressed at all.

I think that if I could get that sound out of mine with a Borla, I'd make the switch.
Does anyone know if that's a cat back, or just the muffler, and any more info?

may just stay with what i have,,,it has a good sound , changed the muffler clamps and bought 2.5 and it seems the inlet on the muffler must be a 2.25 have to get a smaller clamp for it.

Im running the banks headers and the whole cat back and love it. It idles in a low tone, and puts out a nice note when you open it up.

@98Wranglertj-I have listened to most all of them, and IMHO,the Banks sounds better than all of the others, except perhaps the Borla!I will be more than happy to take that Banks off your hands, should you decide to put something else on!Personally,I would leave it and put a catalytic converter back on it.Should you decide to remove it,I will gladly buy it from you,as long as it is in decent shape-not bent, mangled,or rusty!

This video is the one I've been basing my shopping list on for our TJ. Getting there slowly but surely.

For the JK, I'll probably just get a Dynamax Race Bullet and install it under the driver's seat and get rid of that big monstrosity in the rear. I've had those Race Bullets on my last 5 vehicles and love them. Plus, they're cheap, only about $39 from Jegs and Summit

It might be my speakers but the pacesetter exhaust sounds better than the flowmaster in my opinion,I got the 2.5 and it sounds more deep

I saw it mentioned here, I also agree that putting a cat back in will help your sound. Having no cat is a very high contributer of your "chainsaw" sound, or rasp as it is commonaly reffered to. That's my opinion. Any high flow cat will help, but not nearly as much as a OEM style.
