Battery specs 2006 Sport TJ 2.4L Plz

Hi Gents

just tried to order that famous Die Hard Battery from Sears but guess what

American government has a ban on sending batteries abroad!!

so those poor europeans are not able to have it as well.

i got a 2006 Sport TJ 2.4L:

nothing extra on it, like lights or woofers etc.

Does anyone know exactly the specs of the battery i need for my jeep?

will try to get a german battery maybe?

Many thanks Gents

The TJ takes a Group 34 size battery....

Length 260mm Width 173mm Height 200 mm

Length 10 1/4" Width 6 13/16" Height 7 7/8"

The US government has not banned batteries for export, Sears just isn't set up to export them/ship them abroad so they won't.

Yes Group 34 is the size you need. I personally would not run an Optima, it's my strongest possible personal opinion that their quality and longevity has taken a major nosedive since they were purchased by Johnson Controls several years ago. I three Optima batteries in a row that all failed prematurely. I would go with a different brand of AGM battery.

Amp-wise, most winch manufacturers recommend no less than 650 CCA (cold cranking amps) but I like no less than 800 CCA with or without a winch. The Diedhard Platinum P4 goves 880 CCA.
