Bent soft top frame. Any suggestions?

So I just put my soft top on yesterday. It had been stored hanging in my garage over the winter so that nothing bad would happen to it. I go to attach the frame to the mounting points on the roll bar and realize that part of the frame is bent. It still went on and I could still put the top up, but it is rubbing against the rollbar padding.

What's the best way to fix this? Think a rubber mallet would work? I figure in the next year or so, I'll have to get a new top, but I'd rather not have to get a whole new frame to match.

im assuming the bent frame is metal. u can probably just hammer the bend out carefully. If its not a serious bend then it should be an easy fix

with aluminum the best way to bend it would be to put something solid behind the bend like a piece of wood and hammer it back. make sure that wen you put the fixed object behind the bend that it runs parallel with the rest of the frame. the rubber mallet you mentioned would probably work
