Best Place to Tap into Power for Lights?

Putting driving lights on the front bumper and wondering about the best place to tap into power. I see there are fuses behind the glove box and in the engine compartment. It looks like a pain to tap into those tiny fuses. I could also go directly to the battery. Any favorite spots?

PS. The previous owner had a few glass "barrel" fuses in the glove compartment, but I see nothing but spots for blade fuses in the fuse blocks. Any thoughts on where they may go?

Get an understanding of how Relays work and use a wiring kit that has one. You want to wire into the battery with an inline fuse.
