Big fuel issue. HELP

Ok my CEL came on and i got the codes ran it came up with injector 2 short. and cylinder 2 misfire. So i changed the plugs and wires. It runs a little better not but a new problem arose. While running only at idle, fuel will leak from some where above and into the exhaust. I checked the fuel pressure, it is with in limits at 48PSI. As far as i can tell when driving it does not do it, no smell of gas or pools of gas below my Jeep.

At low RPMs it will run choppy and hesitant.

I have no idea where to go or what to check at this point.

HELP!

Swap the #2 injector to a different cylinder and see if the code follows the injector to the different cylinder. Injectors are easy to swap, they are only held in place with an o-ring once you get to the injector itself. Pull it out and swap it with a different cylinder, you should be able to do that within 15 minutes start to finish.

Does one have to remove the fuel rail to swap the injectors? seems pretty simple havent tried it yet just dont want to break anything.

Yes, the fuel rail has to come off but it is only held onto the top of the fuel injector by an o-ring.

Ok the problem went away for a few weeks it came back and worse. I swapped out the injector and it still gets injector number 2 p0202.

OBD-II Trouble Code: P0202 Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit Malfunction

Update: I ohm'd out the connections there is a lot of resistance on that connector. The wires in the connector look good and i traced them as far as i could they also look good.

Now what?
