bigger tires = loose steering?????

So i threw my 32x11.5x15's on monday while i was home sick....
I went to work on tuesday and as i hit 30mph my steering seemed really loose. Almost as if i needed an alignment.
I was running 30x9.5x15 and the only thing changed was the rims and tires. Thought changing tires didnt call for an alignment.

Any ideas? I check the track bar. Seems tight. nothing else loose downstairs.
I'm holding off till i put my new lift in to take it to the shop to have everything aligned and balanced.

You need an alignment.

Kelly, follow my thread...

Interesting Problem

I'm tracking down the same problem your describing. So far the best thing to do is have someone turn the steering while your underneath looking for anything thats not right.

Scout. Tire size does effect your alignment then? I'm going to limp along untill monday when i get it in the shop for an alignment after the lift is installed. No reason to get two alignments in under a week.

Yes it does. Even slight differences in tire size will affect your steering.
