had jeep 1 month. don't know if front right blinker or side light has ever worked. i got a test light and have power at blinker socket and the ground is hot. bulb worked after testing on left front but not right. i did buy new bulb. spares. still no go. where to trouble shoot now? i did move ground to another spot but no go.
I finally replaced the driver side marker socket assembly $32 at local dealer. The contact points for the 168 bulb were black and not seating tight like the passsenger side is. All is good now. Damn, this is the TJ forum. My bad :blackeye
so tonight i jumped back in. took wiring harness and cut away all zip ties so i could tell what i had. as before i put test light on pos batt post and had ground on right front blinker socket. replaced already. swapped test light to neg terminal and had hot wire at right front blinker. so only difference now is the light is illuminating when on but still no blinker. again tried a new bulb but nope. also tried all signals tonight and everything worked except the right front blinker and right front blinker doesn't work when flashers are on. back right flashes fast when right side is on. help :worthy::worthy::worthy::beerme:
Possible the relay or whatever it's called is fried? When I replaced my tails with led I had to put a new one in - goes right above the wheel on steering column. Not sure if this could be it?
replaced blinker relay under steer column but still same.. all lights are luminated and all blink except front right. right rear is in hyper flash mode. changed the right rear bulbs just thinking maybe. nope....
My jeep ad a similar issue. Check ground wire. Mine looked fine but was broken on the inside...
