Did you check the wiring? You can unhook the battery and check continuety through the wires one at a time.

Without power theres a test mode for testing continuety. The meter will suply the power. Put one lead from the meter on one end of the wire then the other lead on the other. It should beep and show how much resistance on the meter. Should be 0 or almost zero. Also make sure theres no relays inbetween because if theres no power the relay won't be functioning and it will show infanite resistance. Hope that helps a bit.

Check the ground for the blower motor. If you have power at the motor then it is the ground.(use test light. No need to buy a volt meter unless you plan on doing a lot of electrical trouble shooting) Remember keep it simple.

Did you check the fuse in the power distribution center next to the battery?

X2 on the fuse. Did you check it? There should only be two wires there at the blower motor. Typically orange and black. Orange is your hot. As for the ground its black. The ground should be fairly obvious on where it is grounded. Fire wall, blower box or on the dash frame. I would have to see it to tell ya. I'm sure someone else here in the forum with a 2000 could tell you for sure.
Check the fuse and see if you have power at the motor.
