Bolts

I got a 99 TJ the other day and all my interior is removed, all the better this way cuz I don't have to remove anything to bed line it. Anyways I am missing my bolts for my front seats and for the roll bars that go from the main cage to the windshield. I just need to know what size bolts to buy for these cuz I REALLY don't wanna do a trial and error process on this.

Wish I saw this earlier. I just removed everything this past weekend to line my interior. Sorry.

That's cool. Would anyone know where I would find information like this in case I run into anymore missing hardware? I was debating on buying a chilton or Haynes manual but I'm pretty car savvy but I don't think it would hurt to have these layin around just in case.

Well I found them after searching on google and yahoo for about a week straight. For anyone that needs this info in the future they are M8 - 1.25x35

I put my seats on my Jeep just a minute agp and realized that the bolt farthest from the dash and closest to the center is a bigger bolt on both sides. Are all like that or did the PO screw something up and redo the hole?

My 2001 has one bolt larger in each seat as well, when i first took my seats out i thought the PO had screwed it up as well.

Does anybody know what size this bolt is? I found a 314 page thing full of diagrams from Yahoo and I have a Haynes manual has nothing and the diagrams only show the one size. I'm so freaking confused as to why the heck Jeep would do this but I guess that's a car designer for ya lol.

I just lined my tub a few weeks ago. I pulled all the seat belts out to do it. Unfortunately I don't remember the size. I also left the torx set with him. I just called him and he will tell me the size when he gets home.

I would go to your local Jeep dealer and look at their parts diagrams on their computers.... I had to replace a bunch of rusted out bolts that were destroyed when I had to either drill or cut them off and they were able to replace them all.
