for mine i got an adapter 2.5 to 2.25 and welded one on each side.. Its much easier to switch to a bigger pipe later if the muffler has bigger outlets otherwise you will have to cut the outlets off... Give me some time and i will tell you if there is any difference from stock tailpiping to 2.5 piping.
with stock tail piping its just barely louder than stock. If you are planning on upgrading your cat to high low id get the 2.5" intlet with an adapter.. i will install my tail pipe sometime next week and will let you know how it sounds
