Brake line

Hey All
I have a 3 inch lift and im adding JKS disco,s. Will i need to replace my front brake lines with longer ones?

It would be a good idea, but you can probably get away with bending the lines to add more length.

Just getting to work is an adventure.

on this pic my 2-3" OME shocks are complete extended and the axle is about 2-3" lower and the stock brake lines are still long enough.

If your going up to 3-inches of lift you can if you want lower your brake line mount down an inch or so and you'll have more than you need.

On a TJ you can buy YJ brake lines, they are longer than the TJ ones. check out this link for other ideas.

IMO - I'd suggest getting the longer stainless steel lines for max. flexibility.

It ain't no fun unless you get some of it on you.

on my yj, i unscrewed the hard line and rerouted it and got plenty of length out of it. might check there first and save some money

'90 YJ, ford 8.8, SOA, lincoln front, aussie rear, 4.88s, swampers.
