Brake Problem?

I was driving home tonight and after I had to slam on the brakes to miss a car, I had a problem controlling the steering wheel. The Jeep kept pulling to the right and when braking pulling to the left. When I stopped at the red light I noticed smoke and that burning rubber smell coming from the front of the Jeep. I was also having a hard time accelerating. I am thinking that their is something wrong with the front brakes, and since it is late I wont be getting to inspect it tonight. Any ideas on what could have happened?

Sounds like a frozen brake caliper in the right front.
