I'm doing a gear job on a front dana 30. Only my second time doing gears, I did the rear a couple years ago. (Always same ratio, it's a long story) The rear break in was straight forward, but with the front rarely seeing load I'm wondering if I should modify the break in time. I think they recommend 500 miles of easy driving, short trips etc... but if it doesn't see load maybe I should extend that to 1000 miles?
Just wondering what you guys thought.
