Broke my climate control

I went to turn my heat on lastnite after work and I snapped my vent control. I was just wondering if anyone on here bought the fancy billet ones and wanted to sell their stock ones cheap? I really don't want to spend $50 on the fancy ones around x-mas.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is your best friend for all your junkyard needs. Remember, the price they tell you ain't the price you gotta pay

Also, MOPAR has them at $8 a pop. So you might want to check your local dealership.

99-04 TJ Wrangler AC & Heater Control Knob

Or break into someone's jeep and snatch and grab.

I had the same thing happen to mine a few days ago. At first I thought it was the
knob so I just reached in my toolbox that stays inthe trunk and grabbed a set of needle nose and turned it. Next day I super glued the knob and put it back on. Turns out that the pop I felt was actually the switch going out. Now I can only get air out of the foot vents and I can't turn the compressor on. Hopefully you don't need a whole new pannel like I do.

I don't think, I only looked at it in the dark though...I think I just broke the plastic piece that connects to the pin......I'm stuck with my defrost on....Better than being stuck with my AC on in November! I priced one, they are $6 at my local dealer...I'm just gonna get one there.

its real easy to check, needle nose pliers. turn the metal shaft and see if it changes where your heat is coming out. yes its just 6$ for the knob but it would be pointless to even spend that if the whole thing broke.
