Hey all. So I was bleeding my brakes because I bought new brake lines and the bleeder screw on the rear passenger side drum broke. I was wondering should I just use an extractor bit and get it out or is there an easier way to fix it.
I hate dealing with broken screws but i think an extractor bit is the best/cheapest. if everything is rusty worn or old new calipers are not even that horribly expensive just rebuild everything.
As a temp bleed method, use the brake line as the bleeder. pump up and then crack the brake line then re-tighten when pedal down. Will still have a little air, but help clear the line and maybe a small amount from the cylinder till you can replace if the bleeder is still tight.
