broken trap door

I opened up the cabin air intake to clean it up and noticed this.

The door won't close, it just flaps. Trying to figure out how to fix it. 2006 tj

Also, is something missing from the housing. Looks like a filter is supposed to fit on this?

Just found this piece behind my glove box. Any idea how to remove the door so I can install a new one?

That's what opens your blend door when the ac is on. Located behind glove box in front of fan.

There was never a cabin filter offered on TJs, although people have devised various ways to add them.

cabin filter

I can't find any thing on a cabin filter for a wrangler,do we have one?

That was inside the cowl. I think its called a fresh air inlet. I'm trying to figure out how to take the broken piece out, so I can get a new one from a junk yard. It looks like the only way to get it out is from under the jeep?
