CA bushings trashedd in one day

Please help. I hope someone has some good advice for me. I had a 4" Rough Country suspension lift installed about 6 months ago. I've noticed for a while that the handling was sloppy. Long story short, I realized two weeks ago that the Lowe rear Control Arm bushings were toast. I installed all 4 new bushings that Rough Country provided on Wednesday and drove 29 miles on Thursday and noticed a little slop in the rear end. WhenI got home I crawled under the rear end and the bushings are trashed again. The center of the sleeves are ripping away from the bushing. Any idea what could be causing this? I am torquing them to 130lb just like the install instructions say.

I would say poor quality...Rough Country really isn't the best kit around. Reasons like this they are alway getting trash talked.
I would replace the arms with better oones from a more established company.

Did you torque them on the ground with the weight of the jeep on the tires????

Also are the ams twisted or at a weird angle????

Are they fixed or adjustable arms????

Yes, they were torqued on the ground. They ware brand new control arms and this is the second set of bushing that have been trashed. I was told by RC that I should try torquing them to about 80 lb instead of the 130 that is in the instructions. I just bought a set of X-Flex control arms from them and will see how they do.

Well next step would be to look at the Teraflex arms or Rokmen arms

WOW, that's quite a difference from what the instructions say as compared to what they told ya to torque 'em at!!

Thanks KBR97. Do those sleeves ride on bearings?
