Cam and Lifters? Or Oil Pump?

So I have a 2003 Tj sahara that has been causing a ton of grief lately. Blew through a full rad today, thermostat was shot. I also have the classic jeep "tick". Debating new oil pump, or cam and lifters... Opinions?

... I'm also curious about the tick. Not uncommon with the 4.0L.
My last 4.0 had it for about 50K and finally made it's last tick when the ticks turned into knocks and shortly thereafter.... rod stuck/bent. Shot.
New engine isn't ticking..... yet.

Meh, not really a big deal. I picked up a used 4.0 engine (100k miles) for $700 and slapped it in... in my driveway. Plug n play, nice thing about Jeeps.
Saving up for a 4.7 Stroker which should bolt in just as easily. I'd like to have that ready by the time this engine quits. I expect to get at least another 50k - 70k out of this one... it's a good runner.
