Can Someone Help Me Out?

Hello everyone, I got into my JEEP tonight turned on the headlights and my dash stayed dark. Also my tail lights aren't coming on. I have checked all of my fuses. Can anyone on here help me out? What should I do now?

Did you check the fuses behind glove box and the ones under the hood? Some people don't know about the ones behind the glove box.

It's possible the dash lights are dimmed.
The light switch on my 97 is different to your 04 but I'm assuming you twist the light controller stalk to dim/brighten the dash lights.

The headlight switch, or I guess it is really call a plunger, it spins. Turn it counter-clockwise.

If that doesn't work the other thing could be that the lights in your dash are burnt out but that seems unlikely that all of them are. But try turning the plunger first.

Posters should input more info so we do not have to search for info on their jeep. Personally if it's not listed with the issue I will not look any further. I feel it's the posters responsibility to give as much information as possible when asking for help.

Sounds nuts, but I had a similar thing happen a few years ago. Dash and taillights went out on me on my way to work at 5am. It was caused by a corroded front turn signal. That however blew a fuse on me. I forget the fuse number, but it was the top right corner.
