Catalytic converters

Ok so I am pretty sure I have a clogged rear cat on my 04 rubicon. The two upper cats are glowing red after driving it a short distance. Could I be right if so am I able to run fine without the rear cat. Reason I ask is cause I'm thinking about doing true duals on my jeep if I do that I'm looking at a couple hundred just to do that or a couple hundred just to fix my cat. What do you all think.

you replace all three cats as one piece, since its a one piece downpipe. check summit racing and rockauto for prices.

no need to run dual pipes...a 2.5" OD single pipe is plenty, and more than the 4.0L will ever need.

I have my engine camed and bored 30 over I don't want to take any chance of the cats getting to hot or anything along those lines. I drove my jeep last night and when I got out I noticed the two upper cats were glowing red as we'll as the down pipe. And when you order the cats the third one comes seperate so you can get it to slip into the mount atleast that's how the ones I got came a year ago.
