Centering Pin??

Can someone please tell me where exactly one would find the "centering pin" in the area of the front driveshaft? Is this an easy job to replace on your own? Thanks for any help and it's an '04 Sahara with the 4.0.

The centering pin is in the middle of your double cardan joint on your front driveline. If the centering pin is bad you need a new drive line. You have to remove the u joints to see the centering pin. The drive line could be rebuilt by cutting the joint off of the drive line and welding a new one on by a drive line shop. Probably better and quicker to buy a new one or find one in a wrecking yard.

Why do you need a centering pin? Most mistake that with the centering ball. The centering pin is rarely damaged
