Angry Chain rattle noise

every time i hit a bump (even little city driving bumps) there is a sound of chains rattling. all 4 tires are affected, meaning I can hit the bump with 1,2,3,4 tires and i hear the sound. I have removed all 4 tires, brakes, steering, and I am running out of ideas. I have no idea how long this has been happening, i could not hear it until i took the top off for the summer.

reach under and shake each shock. If one has come off the rubber in the top mount it will sound like that (sort-of)

Nope, nice and tight too.

Great ideas though, keep em coming.

I also tried the sway bars... nothing.

i had similar issue..

ended up being that the little hub caps were not an exact fit on the hub so they were jingling around.

i tightened the lugnuts some more, and it went away.

yeah def check the centercaps on your rims. Ive gone crazy before looking fo noises and found them to be stupid crap like that. If they even move a little, I bet they'll make noise.
