Cleaning

Hello all
I was asking is there a good way to clean shocks/under carriage? My shocks are black, they didn't come black, i tried getting purple power leaving on for 5 minutes, and then pressure washing, didn't help much. Any other ideas?

Thanks

Ok. Will it take off the black whenever I spray it on there or do I have to pressure wash it too?

spray it on let it soak, then you should be able to wipe it off with an old rag. Oven cleaner is pretty strong I recommend not breathing any in also, lol. It will choke you.

ok then...heres what you do. Unbolt & remove all four shocks, Spray them generously with the oven cleaner. Put on cookie sheet and stick in oven on Auto Clean for about an hour. Should be good as new. Just make sure you remove the rubber bushings, they may melt.
