Clicking?? Attention electronics experts!

Hey, got an electrical question...

Behind our glovebox is a fusebox and other 'lectrical thingies... From that location there is a clicking sound such as a relay or switch being turned on and off. It does coincide with a very minimal change in "something" in the engine compartment... It has maybe 4 - 5 second intervals, and seems to be engaging and disengaging??? (maybe a fan clutch/cooling system item??? ) The corresponding noise on my watercooled motorcycle is a fan... But it shouldn't be constantly going on/off... my engine temps are just fine, never even breaks a sweat. This only happens on my '03, never hear it on my '00.

Anyone, ...Bueller?

I have same noise in my 03 TJ, I have decided is is Heat/AC related as it only occurs when Heat or AC is on, kinda sounds like when your kitchen oven is pre-heating right? ( reads wierd but hey...thats what it sounds like to me..)

If you put your fingers on the relays when it's making the noise you can feel which relay is doing it.

Thanks for the responses. As far as I know it does it as long as I have the jeep running.. meaning I haven't tried just turning the key to the accessories position to listen for it. I should do that. Yes, it sounds like the ticking off of the temp climb on an oven... do you think its a preheat? (jk)

I will also try the tactile test to feel for the "switching". It's done it as long as I've had it (last Sept) with no sensors or warning lights.
