clogged hood vent, any ideas

the hood vent in front of my windshield may be clogged i'm getting some flooding. anyone have any experience cleaning/fixing this problem?

Yes, Under the hood against the firewall. Also to make it tough behind the engine is a rubber tube. Takes a little work but you will need to squeeze to remove all the built up of gunk. (aka Mud,etc) to clean out. Once done you won't be getting drips on either yours or your passengers feet.

A black rubber tube is what you are looking to find. It's behind the engine on the firewall. It fills with dirt, mud, etc and clogs up. It needs to be cleaned out to stop the water from finding other easy access of places to run out. Which happens to be inside and drips down on your feet.
