Red face Clueless as to the problem, so it must be simple...

My 97 TJ started to stall out in first gear it idles great can rev it up when not in gear but as soon as i put it in first and go to take off it stalls but if i put it in reverse its goes with no problem.
I suspect that this is an advanced symptom of "wild bucking" that occurred about 7 months back.
There has been a 7 month period of non-use.

Any help or direction to find help would be greatly appreciated!
