clutch

2003 TJ Wrangler X model with 123k miles I6 engine.
Noticed this on my drive home.
Engine running and I am driving. When I depress the clutch pedal it feels slightly bumpy. What do I need to replace?

Thanks

I guess I will replace the slave and see if that does the trick.

Thanks

Depends on exactly what you mean by bumpy. If it's like gritty (not smooth) when you push on the pedal, it could be the bushing at the pivot point at the top of the pedal.

I will take a look a that.
Yesterday my 22 mile drive to work was uneventful and the clutch pedal felt smooth like always. When I started up to go home and depressed the pedal is when I felt it wasn't smooth anymore. It doesn't feel gritty it just feels slightly bumpy.
