clutch help, please....

If the clutch were to slip, would it cause the jeep to jerk when driving periodically down the road? There is no rhyme or reason...I have replaced the fuel filter and pump, tuned up, air filter cleaned, etc. and IT IS STILL acting up...running out of ideas. Help!!

Had a car that did that. If our jeep is carburetated then the carb is the problem. Rebuilt my carb and new power valve and that fixed the problem.

If fuel injected may try some injector cleaner.

RPMs

They def. climb during the episode, haven't noticed if they are up prior to the hic-cup or not...BF was with me during the attack yesterday and that was the first thing he thought it might be. I sure don't want to pur her to 'bed' for the winter without having it fixed but it doesn't seem to be an engine thing because no power is lost during the episode...
