Exclamation Clutch replacement help needed

Hey guys, time is close to needing to replace the clutch in my 1997 jeep tj. I heard about a Luk full clutch replacement kit from pepboys. Its $600 for the kit and install. But some people have said i need to upgrade my pressure plate. I have 4 inch suspension lift and 33 inch tires, 2.5l 4 cylinder. I need yalls help. Any reviews on this kit? Or luk in general? Or kit suggestions. Im only 17 lol so this is more than what i know how to do on the thing.

IMHO the pressure plate only needs replaced if it is damaged, which it rarely is. I have no idea about the Luk clutch but I have replaced many clutches on different rides over the years. The only time I ever ordered anything other than stock was on high HP motors.

LUK kit comes with a new pressure plate. You should always replace the pressure plate while your in there, the fingers that the throwout bearing push on are a wear item. If you only replace the friction plate and TB I guarantee you it won't take long before you push the TB through the pressure plate and destroy everything.

The LUK kit is fine for any Jeep application.
