Clutch went out?

Not sure what happened. Was just driving it then lost all pressure in the clutch. Had to power shift to get home. There were no signs of it going out. It just went. No leaks anywhere and there's fluid in the slave cylinder. So im assuming its the clutch? Or could it be something else?

did the pedeal drop, or is it still in normal position? if it is dropped, and just swings, check the rod that connects the pedal arm to the clutch hydraulics. the bushing can break, and the arm coms off. the busshing are avaialbe at oreilly comes in a pack of other bushings.

Still in the normal position. When I push the clutch you can notice a change in the sound the trans is making like the cluch is trying to disengage but it's not.

could be the throwout bearing or the clip that holds the clutch fork on the pivot. either way sounds like the trans has to come off to check

X2 I would remove the slave cylinder first and try to manually disengage the clutch with a long screw driver or wood dowel. I had an ear break off a throwout bearing. Caused a similar problem. By doing above you can rule out the slave cylinder. Use jack stands obviously. Would be horrible to pull a tranny and find out it's the slave. Not that it's likely.

I had a very similar issue. Turns out my throw out bearing was bad.

My V8 swapped Sonoma did that to me. Tore it back down and turned out my clutch disc broke a spring and was jammed up in the pressure plate. Too bad since that clutch only had about 5,000 miles on it. Couldn't possibly have been from me beatin on the truck or anything! Haha

This is what happened to mine, that little clip that is on the passenger side inside the bell housing broke, sent the throwout bearing into the pressure plate disintegrating the fingers. I just rebuilt the whole clutch system even though the disc was ok. It was cheap enough, so I figured why not.

I tried to press the clutch fork in but it wouldn't budge. Just gonna order a luk pro gold clutch kit and replace the disc, pressure plate, pilot and throw out bearing all at the same time.
