Codes: P0351, P0352, P0353...

Hi all,
I just got the dreaded CEL and it threw the three codes listed in the title.
Description says: Ignition coil (#1, #2, and #3). "Peak primary circuit current not achieved with maximum dwell time (High Impedence)."

This may have to do with some work I was performing yesterday.
I didn't do much, just replaced valve cover and gasket... but may have disturbed something in the process that caused this.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I would check the coil pack connections (assuming you have the rail system) you may not have gotten them seated properly.

Sarge, I'll check that right now, thank you. I didn't remove the coil pack yesterday but I was definitely working around it. I also gushed the upper radiator hose when I removed it. It is possible that coolant got into the coil system from that. I'll pop it off now and look. I have a spare coil pack.

I just removed it, looked for anything suspicious, and reinstalled.
Everything looked rubberized and intact. Started the Jeep back up and the CEL didn't appear. Good for now and maybe it was a fluke but I'm going to carry my spare coil pack just in case.
I need to drive a little over 400 miles round trip today, about to embark on that journey in a few minutes, fingers crossed.

Good luck. I think you willl be ok, sometimes just those connections get disturbed and need to be pulled and re seated.

Sarge,
Quick update. She died twice on me 90 miles away. Both times I put it in neutral and coasted to the side. It started right back up and ran fine both times. Got me back home too with no problems at all but the CEL remained on.
It has all the hallmarks of a loose connection or possibly a failing coil pack. I replaced the coil pack once I got home with a spare I have. Started it up and the CEL is off again. Hopefully I chased this gremlin down.
