Do you need to take the track bar loose to put the spacers in? Don't see anything about it in the instructions. Just wanting to make sure don't want to mess up. Thanks for any help!
Why do you recomend taking the track bar down just for coil spacers?? It won't help anything there... Just disconnect the shocks at the bottom so the axle can hang down further. If it's still really tight you may have to disconnect one end of the lower control arms to get it to drop down more... Or just rent/buy a spring compressor. :/
Because leaving the track bar connected opens the door to the axle possibly swinging when he removes the shocks. Thus, the safety issue- it's easier to simply unbolt it and not worry about the axle shifting, and it takes all of a minute to do- Mark W.
