Had one for our Samurai... but be sure its the "ALL WEATHER" one. Worked pretty good for the monsoon season out here. Especially since we never ran anything more than a bikini top on it. lol

That's what I have. They are totally waterproof. Those prices look a little high unless they include shipping. You might look at quadratec.

Ebay had some good prices on those, might want to do a little google searching for the best price. last time I checked quadratec was pretty high as well.

Check on the covers that include the doors...you may find that you like to ride with the doors off...

The gold jeep I was going to buy was missing a top and this is all that she used even in hard rain. She said it worked great.

I have one too, the full doors of model, works great, no leaks, however, unless you prop up the center, it will accumulate quite a pool of water in the center! I use an old broomstick that I cut down to the correct height, but I want to get one of those prop rods for a duster cover I see every once in awhile!

Sgnellett,

I have a question for you on the cover. How does it attach?

What I'm looking for is a cover that I can use when towing the Jeep. In the summer, I have to put the doors on and the soft top on to tow the Jeep and then when I get to the destination, I take them all off and have to find a place to store them. I don't want to tow it open because it picks up all sorts of dirt. A friend of mine once picked up a lit cigarette butt when he was towing his Jeep "open". It caught his driver's seat on fire.

What I want is a cover that attaches well enough to withstand towing on the freeway. Looking at yours, do you think it would work for that purpose?

//Thanks.

There are straps and stuff on the trail covers I've seen but I'm not sure how they would hold up to towing.

I wouldn't try to tow w/ mine, in it's original configuration at least. It just has some small plastic hooks that clip onto the lip under the rockers, but if you were to stitch on a piece of fabric w/ some good grommets on it (or have it done at a good canvas shop) then run a strap under the Jeep, that might be ok. Not real sure how it would hold up to the wind at highway speeds though. If it were me, I'd probably spring for a full cover that you could cinch under both bumpers and across the underside of the tub. I've never done this on a car though, so I don't know how it would work. Boats don't have much in the way of paint for the covers to ruin.. Anyone else have any input on this?
