getting a welder in there without taking it out will be something i would like to see. depending where it is cracked.
A new one off ebay is about 80$
Either way i would take it out.

if you are going to weld it it won't last very long from what I hear... do yourself a favor and either get a new one or upgrade to a set of headers and replace it all yourself. its not hard but will take you a few hours to do. just plan on a good part of your day... and get one of the steel header gaskets from the auto store too they are the best thing you can do when replacing that gasket...

I have a cracked mani also. I thought about welding it. But then thought.... if im going to take it off i might as well get a new one.
I looked around and i read somewhere on here that someone had gone through three borla headers and then just got the ebay special with the flex joints and it has lasted 3x longer then the top dollar ones.

I plan on getting the ebay one and go from there. Figure i will take the cash i saved and get some more steel for other welding projects.

And if you change to gieco then you can get even more mods done...lol
