I don't know exactly where it is on the 2.4L engine either but it will be the only sensor located on the transmission bell housing where it bolts to the engine.

I could usesome help with this as well. I have searched everywhere and nothing on the bellhousing. I'm throwing the code that I need to replace it, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the same type as a 4.0? I feel like a freggin idiot. I searched everywhere from the front to the back. If it looks different than the 4.0's then that might be my problem. I have changed them in those before with no problems.

i changed one on my aunts 2.4, iirc it is not the same as a 4.0, a lot of vehicles have the ckp sensor on the front.
