Exclamation crazy bumping when pulling off in 1st gear

ok friend has a 2002 tj 3.5 lift no sye some mods dont know all of them and the 4.0 i think know to the question what would make a bumping (only a few times) when pulling off in first gear and only in first no other gear to include reverse have changed front axel u joints and front drive shaft (whoa haynes says nothing about the crazyness that is the rear u joint on the drive shaft) but was thinking of changing back u joints no play in them though already got the small stuff like mabe something rolling around in cab stuff like that any ideas lol im a yj guy so im learning how to work on his jeep with him

done anything to the exaust? I put a new cat on mine and it sounds like you have the same noise as me, only taking off, no other time. Ended up my cat was'nt strait so it was hitting the skid

Check control arms, my rear uppers have bad bushings and make all kinds of noise taking off.

I had a noise like that only when letting the clutch out,taking off in first.It was driveline angle,lowering the transfer case cured it.Does this Jeep have a transfer case drop?
