Cruise Control Disengages

I have a 2005 Wrangler with factory cruise. Shortly after engaging, the cruise control disengages on its own. I am not getting any codes from the PCM. I've checked all the vacuum line connections and have even replaced the cruise servo with a new one. Same problem still exists. Can anyone who might have experienced same symptoms give some thoughts on what to check next?
Thanks,
Chris in SC

i'm not sure but just throwing this out there, check the brake pedal switch? you know if you tap the brake it shuts off.

You can get the switch for approx $30 or so at an auto parts store. Should take you less than 5 mins to swap it out.

Thanks for the schematics. I'll assume Brake Pedal Switch and Brake Lamp Switch are the same thing.
Also, if the switch was bad, wouldn't I get a code when I run diagnostics?

Lack of any codes and since I don't have an ohmmeter I'll just have to replace the switch and see if that's the fix.
Thanks again.

Replaced the brake light switch last night. Problem remains. Part was only $13 so no big loss and at least can eliminate that as the culprit.
