crushed fuel line

i had a check engine light pop on after jumping a retaining wall. it was a small one, the dealership said it was my "natural vacume canister" on my fuel line. they said i crushed the thing that tells when my gas cap is off. they said that the rear track bar bracket from the lift caused it. i took the bracket off and installed an adjustable rear track bar and i am going to try a different dealership. any input on that idea or a better way to get it coverd under warranty is appreciated.

i was also wondering how hard that fuel line is to replace and if i need to pull the tank and how hard that is. lastly is their any upgrades or secrets to keep that from happening again.

if the part was crushed it is probably not going to be covered. warranty's are offered to protect against manufacturer's defects not customer abuse. just because a machine or vehicle has a warranty doesn't mean that everything will be covered. as i had mentioned before, neglect, abuse, and/or improper operation is not a warranty-able issue.
