Seems to run ok except going up hill. (off road) It cut out sputs and sputters untill it gets on flat ground again. Even worse when in 4low.

Sounds like it does it under a load. Does that seem right?

Yep I agree.

More info this is the jeep that I have been rebuilding, and this is its first test runs.

New wiring harness
engine rebuild, but original injectors
replaced fuel pump (used one)
I have another set of injectors but they are out of a 97' 2.5 (same ?)
And the tps is giving a code. of too high. I did change it to a new one but still gives the code. Could it be causing the stumble?

the tps i put on is a 95' the ecu is a 97' they are a diff part number and a diff plug. Am I going to have to install the 97 tps to get the code to go away? I find it hard to believe that the two send a diff volt but could I guess.

Im thinking injectors. not tps , ideas?

Possible to make the code go away. Not real sure on computer stuff. I'm an engine guy. Try to clean the injectors first see if it helps. It does sound like a fuel prob.

I put some inj cleaner in the tank. Should I remove them to clean further? If so how?

Anybody know if the injertors off the 97 would work? I was thinking of trying, all it would do if wrong is not run, or run worse. right?

the fuel rail on the 95 has only one line, the 97 fuel rail I have has two lines and a vacume thing on the end.
